COVID-19 in Russia

When I see statistics of COVID-19 spreading in Russia it’s really hard to say what’s going on. So, I decided to look at things differently and show infected people rate instead of absolute number.

The entire month I’ve been reading about Sovkomflot IPO. It’s a Soviet-era company with a large number of cargo ships for transferring oil and liquid gas. Dumb & Dumber

Once again, Kremlin is making Pokerface, saying a wide range of nonsense statements, starting from “Navalny forgot to eat his breakfast”, to “You don’t have proofs it was us”. Meantime, it is clear that the Russian government is very afraid of upcoming troubles in the economy and does everything to keep control over the country.

Victory over COVID-19

From the beginning of this week government of the Moscow Region has opened parks, non-essential shops, some churches and health, and beauty facilities. Streets are full of people and kids have fun on the playgrounds that are officially are still closed.

On Saturday private spacecraft SpaceX Drago launched from Kennedy Space Center two astronauts into space. Now the US has its own spacecraft to reach the international space station and don’t need to pay Russia huge money for use of our rockets

Yesterday was the Victory Day in Russia when Nazi’s Germany surrendered. We decided to look at the war from another point of view and watch American movie Catch 22.

Win-win desicion

At a first glance Navalny loose presidential campaign at the very beginning: Central Election Committee refused to register him due to his felony sentence. At the same time for Kremlin it could look like the signs of fear that Navalny will defeat Putin during the campaign.
