From the beginning of this week government of the Moscow Region has opened parks, non-essential shops, some churches and health, and beauty facilities. Streets are full of people and kids have fun on the playgrounds that are officially are still closed.
I’m rather surprised that people are so relentless about their safety and in general, do not follow the rules about social distancing and wearing masks. On the other hand, peoples are tired of sitting at home and glad to go outside after the permit system cancelation.
It looks like the business doesn’t have any resource left to keep their doors closed and the government don’t want to spend much money on economy support and decided to let people make money by themselves. It’s interesting to look at disease statistics in a couple of weeks from now. However, the spread of disease would be slow down. Kremlin already announced the second attempt to hold a referendum about changes to allow Putin to stay in power up to 2036. And I don’t think they are going to postpone it again. So, detected cases of infection would be decreased no matter how many people would get sick.
