NY in Kyiv

It was rather nice in Kyiv during the holidays. On New Year Eve we visited the main Christmas tree of the city on Sofiyskaya Square. Square was decorated in European style with music, fancy lights and was full of happy people. There were also food shops with sausages, mulled wine and sweets for kids.

Hand-made cheese

I thought that making cheese is something very time and efforts consuming. However, my wife presented me with a special kit with detailed instructions. It turned out that to make a fresh cheese you need about 5 minutes of active action, some milk, and a lemon.

Marrow spread

It was a period in my life when I ate marrow spread a lot. My father worked in sales for a company that produced variety of canned goods. So, sometimes instead of money he got a lot of canned vegies. Marrow spread was the best among them. I could eat entire jar in one attempt.
