Long way to falafel

I’ve finally made falafel that tastes good. I ate it for the first time long ago in one of the Moscow’s cafe and was not impressed about it at all. But during the trip to Germany I ate in at the street market and it was delisious. May be I was hungry, or it was just a new place, but I decided to eat it again.

When I returned home I tried to cook it from the precooked mixture from METRO and the result was horrible. Like eating fried paper. Then I bought freezed falafel at Jagannat and Vkusvil stores. It was much closer to what I need but not the same. And during the past weekend I decided to cook it from scratch. So I waited for twelwe hours while chickpea would soaked with water, then chrewed it with blender, added parsley, spices and made small balls from that mixture.

Balls were much more juicy then they were from precooked mixture. Then was the magic moment of frying and falafel, fresh and crispy, was ready!

I tried it with humus and it was good, but now I want try to make a sauce for it. So, the carantine and food experiments are going on!
