After registration on Litres online library I was very happy, but very soon realized that most of the books in English there are adopted for a certain level. You can get the plot, but the pure enjoyment of the author’s language is missing. The second thing was about the format. Litres allows reading either online on the website, or through the Android app. So my Kindle was useless and I spent more time using the led screen.
Fortunately, I found American Moscow Center (AMC) library provided all I need: unabridged English books with direct delivery to Kindle devices. Now I just need to stick with the plan and read a chapter a day to practice in English.
By the way, AMC provides a lot more services to the Russian audience. They have codding classes, Movies club, and much more. I tried Speaking club online and was not impressed. Moderators were speaking a lot and only a few attendants took part in the conversation. And when moderators asked to read from screen an article and procced to tasks after it, I disconnected, because I don’t feel it is a good approach in speaking practice.
