Heat lovers

During my first busyness trip to the US, I was really surprised how people there are walking in winter in T-shirts along the streets.  I tried to convince myself that there were just short walks from car to home or office, but that was not only just about Americans outside. In hotel suite and the temperature in office was also low for me. I was sitting in the office, wearing a jacket and shivering, and looked with astonishment at a guy across the aisle who drank iced cola.

However things changed and we have open windows at home now, because my wife likes the fresh air. The temperature at the office is also cool, so I get used to cool air.

But it is really torture for me now in places where the temperature is high. At shops, restaurants, and transport it is unbearable hot. And I started to get surprised by Russian people. Just today I enter a train on my commute to work. And after 2 degrees Celsius outside, it was rather hot inside (26 degrees). And not a person except me put off a jacket. All passengers were just sitting in the compartment wearing scarves, sweaters, and jackets at summer temperature carriage. What’s going on inside Russian people? Are they have some storage with ice inside to cool down them? Why do they love heat so much?
