I haven’t ridden a bicycle since I was a kid. And I’m not sure, but probably it was three-wheels one. I’ve never needed to ride it. In Taganrog, I had a train station one minute from my home. In Moscow subway is a very nice way to move around.
However, on our honeymoon, we went to Bali and most people drive a motorcycle there. So I decided to rent one. Everyone told me that it’s super easy to ride it, like ride a bicycle, but I failed. After it I decided to learn this skill.
Finally, this month I went to a bicycle school and after two lessons I was able to ride in a decent manner. But when another issue appeared. How to practice? In Zheleznodorojny there are no places even for jogging, in parks I’m going with kids and have no time for personal fun. The only solution I got is to ride to a subway station (~10 km). So, I bought a bicycle and made a trip
The road I chose was along the road that connectes the city with Moscow. So driving along with cars looks very unsafe sometimes when the road is narrow and trucks don’t care too much about other people on the road.
There is a narrow sidewalk along the road. But it’s so narrow that you can pass nobody on it.
So far I am very disappointed with the road and going to find another path.
