Well, I’ve never read a book for so long. I started reading Bram Stoker Dracula in February and could tell that it’s a very long book. However, the plot of the book and the main bad character was pictured so well that count’s name is known to everyone now even if you have never heard about a book or multiple movies about him.
The book was written long ago and full of archaic words. Even Kindle dictionary is not aware of some words about horses or sailing ships. But in general, language is rather simple. Another interesting thing is about the book structure. It consists of letters that characters write to each other. Sometimes the same event describes from different points of view. And that is one of the reasons why the book is so long.
What was really unexpected that Dracula is described as an old, pale, and not attractive person at all. It is so striking because in modern films all vampires are young and sexy.
But the most interesting thing is about haunt scenes when scared professor, doctor, and their friends pursuing Dracula along his way back to Transylvania.
