Move to Poland

After escaping Ukraine we lived in Moldova, partly in the capital Chisinau, partly in the lovely countryside, where I had chance to use wooden oven and walk a lot among the vineyards.

NY in Kyiv

It was rather nice in Kyiv during the holidays. On New Year Eve we visited the main Christmas tree of the city on Sofiyskaya Square. Square was decorated in European style with music, fancy lights and was full of happy people. There were also food shops with sausages, mulled wine and sweets for kids.

Air Baltic – the worst

Well, nowadays a trip from Moscow to Kyiv is rather challenging itself, but AirBaltic managed to turned it to a horrible journey. Let me just say that trip with four year old kid and infant took us 40 hours and you could imagine yourself how bad was experience.

Babi Yar

I’m renting the apartment in Kyiv near Dorohozhychi metro station where the notorious place is located. Today I have some time to walk there in daylight. The place of the massacre during world war two is now a huge site with several monuments separated by Illienka street.
