When old life is falling apart the best way is to start from scratch. Since February 24th I’ve lost a lot important things: money, job, the most of personal belongings and, of course, the country. However, I kept the most valuable items: my family, my values, and my passion. That is why in September I put all remaining things in backpack and started a long journey.
The way to Dresden without direct flights to Europe and mobilization in Russia was rather complicated, starting from bus to Minsk, waiting there for two weeks the earliest available tickets, then flight to Astana and waiting there for three days the flight to Frankfurt and, finally, bus to Dresden.
After overcrowded Moscow, dull Minsk, unfriendly Astana and dirty Frankfurt, Dresden welcomed me with peaceful streets, wonderful buildings and picturesque embankment of river Elba.
After several weeks of moving between hotels it was so nice to settle down in apartment and enjoy cooking on your own kitchen.
And on November 1 was my first working day at Elbe Flugzeufwerke office near the Dresden airport. It was so nice after a break to return in office and dig into the documents.
